about the wine

Wine produced exclusively from grapes of the Herdade do Esporão, under organic production. In the search for greater freshness, a selection of the first grape varieties to be harvested is made. The fermentation and aging in concrete tulip-shaped tanks (porous/neutral aromas) respect the freshness and purity of the fruit, resulting in a direct, fresh, and vibrant wine.
  • O ano agrícola de 2024 teve um clima Mediterrâneo-Continental.  O Outono e Inverno foram mais amenos e chuvosos. Primavera também mais amena e muito chuvosa, seguida de um Verão seco e com temperaturas menos elevadas.

  • Production Method: Vineyard with certified organic farming.

    Soil Type: Granite/schist origin, with loamy clay structure.

    Average Vineyard Age: 17 years.

  • Aragonês 25%, Syrah 15%, Petit Syrah 10%, Alicante Bouschet 10%, Trincadeira 5%, Touriga Nacional 5% e outras 5%.

  • Destemming and crushing of the grapes. Alcoholic fermentation in concrete and stainless-steel tanks with gentle extraction. Malolactic fermentation in concrete and inox tanks.
