Marinated goat cheese Recipe

For an end-of-day treat or as a starter, try marinating a goat cheese in our Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Then, simply spread it on bread

Ingredients
  • 2 packets of chèvre cheese

  • 6 cloves of crushed garlic

  • 3 teaspoons of whole black peppercorns

  • 4 sprigs of fresh thyme, plus 1 teaspoon chopped

  • 2 fresh bay leaves

  • 3 long strips of lemon zest, cut with a vegetable peeler

  • Esporão Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Coarse salt

Preparation

Slice the cheese and place it in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. In this jar, also add the cloves of garlic, black peppercorns, thyme, bay leaves, lemon zest, and coarse salt. Cover with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and let it marinate for at least 4 hours. Serve with toast or bread.
