For December, Catarina Santos suggested a recipe in the spirit of the season and very easy to do – the Christmas Turkey Plait.

  • Ingredients
    • Puff pastry
    • Leftover roast turkey
    • Esporão's Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    • 1 onion
    • 1 Garlic
    • 1 tsp of flour
    • Milk as needed

DIRECTIONS

Brown some garlic and onion in olive oil. Add the turkey in small pieces and the tablespoon of flour previously dissolved in milk. Stir until well miced. Roll out the puff pastry and place the turkey filling in the middle. Make lateral and diagonal cuts and braid the pastry. Bake in a preheated oven (180ºC) for 20 minutes. Serve with Dijon mustard and a green salad.
