We have news.
Bico Amarelo red has arrived. A red from the Vinho Verde region? That's right. But we will get to that.
Bico Amarelo red is a light, light-coloured wine, with less alcohol, no gas, ideal to be served chilled, and easy to drink.
It comes to join Bico Amarelo white, a fresh, vibrant and refreshing wine that has demystified the whites from the Vinho Verde region.

Verde is not a type of wine, it's a region.
Yes, that's right. There are only white, red, rosé and sparkling wines. Not green.
But wine regions are a different matter. And there are several in Portugal. In the north of the country, in the Entre-Douro-e-Minho area, there is a demarcated region called Vinho Verde. In this region, as in any other Portuguese wine region, white, red and sparkling wines are produced.
But over time, the wines produced in this region began to be known as ‘Vinhos Verdes’.
Sometimes we also refer to ‘a Douro’, without specifying its type. It's almost the same thing.
Bico Amarelo is a white wine, and now also red, from the Vinho Verde region.

What about the grape varieties? Are they the same?
Bico Amarelo represents the diversity of the region and its main grape varieties.
Without gas or sugar, Bico Amarelo is a light, fresh wine with good aromatic intensity. And a wine that perfectly represents the territory from which it comes.
Whether it's white or red.
