Respecting the winegrowing tradition of the world’s oldest demarcated region, the wines produced are based on the region’s indigenous varieties. Versatile and gastronomic, they express the Douro’s freshest side.

It was a year marked by a winter that was warmer and drier than usual and a spring with large temperature fluctuations and rainfall. Early summer was marked by thunderstorms and heavy hail at the end of June and a cooler and more humid July. The temperatures increased in August, which accelerated ripening. We started harvesting the red grapes on 6 September, with good acidity and intensity.
Soil Type: Schist.
Average Vineyards Age: About 20 years old.
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz
Manual harvest, sorting table, destemming, crushing, pre-fermentation cold maceration, alcoholic fermentation with controlled temperatures (max. 25ºC), pneumatic pressing.
10% of the blend aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.
Winemakers: Lourenço Charters.
Color: Red, with violet hues.
Aroma: Intense and lively, dominated by red fruits.
Palate: Good concentration, where its freshness and elegance stand out.
