Monte Velho's 2022 red, white and rosé wines are brought to you from the hands of the makers. The brand is launching its new vintages and taking the opportunity to reiterate its "Made slowly in Portugal" campaign by sharing the stories of four key contributors to Monte Velho's production.
Monte Velho has already stated its intention to align itself with the values of tradition, rigour and authenticity expressed by Portuguese artisans. Now, it will show the faces and share the voices of some of those responsible for Monte Velho. Amândio Rodrigues is the Agricultural Director, Inácio Capucho, the cellar master, João Ramos, the red wine winemaker and Catarina Maurício is a grape producer representing Monte Velho suppliers. They will be sharing their own personal stories, all of which come together to form the greater story—that of Monte Velho.
Monte Velho wine was first released in the 1990s from the ambition and purpose of producing a wine that could guarantee both quality and consistency at an affordable price. Over more than three decades, Monte Velho wines have earned an enviable reputation among Alentejo wines, thanks to having built a relationship of quality and trust with its grape growers throughout the region. The demand for innovation and quality enabled the team to build a dedicated, custom-designed facility, the Monte Velho winery, where, since 2018, all Monte Velho white, rosé and red wines have been vinified.
Monte Velho's new vintages reveal a balanced, food-friendly profile that's vibrant, and simultaneously classic and modern.
The campaign includes TV spots and digital content. The full interviews are available on the campaign landing page.
