Monte Velho organic joins a family with more than 30 years of history, consistency and quality. Produced with organic grapes in Reguengos de Monsaraz, this is a wine of intensity and identity that faithfully expresses its origins.

Monte Velho has been part of the Esporão story since 1992. From the start, it has stood out for its quality and consistency, along with the constant innovation that is an integral part of its origin and growth. It took its time, but the family is growing. Monte Velho organic was born naturally, binding this wine to our land. Grown in Reguengos de Monsaraz, it is produced exclusively from organic grapes grown in poor, stony soils in a continental climate marked by extreme temperature variations.

Made from regional grape varieties, it reveals the typical character of its origin. It is more intense in colour and aroma. It is richer and more full-bodied—characteristics that reinforce its identity.

Monte Velho Organic Red 2021 is an intense wine, characterized by a blend of Aragonez, Syrah and Touriga Nacional varieties, among others. Dark ruby in colour, this red has aromas of forest fruits, cherries and blackberries. On the palate it presents notes of ripe but fresh black fruit, with elegant and persistent tannins. The finish is long and expressive.

Coming from the best plots of indigenous Portuguese varieties of Antão Vaz, Rabo de Ovelha and Gouveio, Monte Velho Organic White 2021 is a fresh and vibrant wine, with a clear, crystalline pale green hint. With tropical fruit aromas, particularly pineapple and mango, this white is characterized by an intense flavour, with an enveloping texture that highlights the purity of the fruit and a long and vibrant finish.
