Esporão Reserva White 2022 is a classic Alentejo wine, produced exclusively with organic grapes from the Alentejo vineyards of Esporão. Rich, intense and harmonious, the wine bears a new label with the artwork of Alexandre Conefrey.
Made at nature's pace, this wine showcases the rich diversity of the Esporão universe. It is the product of a assortment of grapes, soils and vine maturities, crafted consistently year after year by a diverse group of people.
The blend includes the grape varieties Antão Vaz, Arinto and Roupeiro, from vineyards with an average age of twenty years. Aged for six months in stainless steel vats and new American and French oak barrels on fine lees, this is an intense wine, with citrus and white peach notes and well-balanced toast from the barrels. Fresh and elegant in the mouth, its finish is long and lively.
Since 1985, Esporão Reserva has sought to bring together the universal cultures of wine and art, by commissioning original artwork for its labels. Each label begins a story that only reaches completion inside the bottle. The 2022 vintage introduces the most recent artist to join the select Esporão label collection - Alexandre Conefrey.
