Esporão Private Selection White 2018 is the Portuguese wine with the highest score in the “TOP 100 Wines of 2020” by Wine Enthusiast, in 27th place with 95 points – Editors’ Choice, a classification attributed to outstanding wines.
According to Roger Voss, Esporão Private Selection White 2018 is a “rare example of a 100% Sémillon wine from Portugal, perhaps inspired by winemaker David Baverstock’s Australian background. Wood aged and ageworthy, it is rich in tropical fruits, spice and toastiness. While it could be enjoyed now, it will be even better after 2023″.
