Esporão Colheita is a fresh, direct and vibrante wine that was introduced as Esporão first wine with organic certification, but it is much more than just an organic wine. It is a wine produced solely from grapes grown at Herdade do Esporão. To achieve greater freshness, a selection is made from the first grape varieties to be harvested. The wine ferments and ages in concrete tanks (porous), to respect the fruit’s freshness and purity.

The Esporão Colheita label depicts the flora and fauna of the Herdade do Esporão estate, reflecting their role in the production of our wines and in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem, a factor that is so essential to organic production. The design changes every year, with a reduced environmental footprint on each bottle.
Why does the new packaging have less environmental impact?
No Capsule:
By removing the capsule from Colheita white and Colheita red, we are saving 5 tons of aluminium, which represents a reduction of 2300 Kg/CO2.
Revising labels’ finishes:
We removed the gold and red effects, and 28km less layers of folio, a material composed of aluminium and plastic.
